Vision

Every miniature deserves a permanent record.

Mini Archive exists to preserve the history, craftsmanship, and provenance of physical miniatures.

Every miniature tells a story. That story should not disappear because a social media account was deleted, a website went offline, a collector passed away, or ownership simply changed hands. Mini Archive gives every miniature a permanent digital identity that can accompany it for its entire lifetime.

Our goal is not to replace social media. Our goal is to preserve what social media cannot.

01

The Miniature Comes First

The miniature is the primary entity in every record. Artists, owners, collections, competitions, and campaigns all revolve around the miniature — not the other way around. A miniature can outlive its painter, its owner, or even the game system it was built for, and its history deserves to remain intact regardless.

02

Every Miniature Deserves a Permanent Identity

Every archived miniature receives a unique, permanent Archive ID. Ownership may change. Names may change. Paint schemes may change. The Archive ID does not.

03

Preserve History

Mini Archive exists to document a miniature's full journey — its creation, its painting and progress photos, its paint recipe, competition entries and awards, campaign history, ownership transfers, restoration, publication, and eventual retirement. History on Mini Archive is additive: nothing meaningful is erased.

04

Technology Is Not the Product

QR codes, NFC tags, RFID, and certificates are simply methods of accessing an Archive Record — they are not Mini Archive itself. Mini Archive is the permanent record those methods point to.

05

Platform Agnostic

Mini Archive is not tied to any single manufacturer or game system. Warhammer, Dungeons & Dragons, Marvel Crisis Protocol, Battletech, historical miniatures, scale models, busts, dioramas, and 3D-printed models are all equally welcome. Every physical miniature deserves a history, regardless of where it came from.

06

Authenticity Through Transparency

Mini Archive is built to make a miniature's history easier to verify, not harder. Verification is grounded in documented evidence rather than unsupported claims. Trust is earned through transparency.

07

Ownership Is Temporary

Owners change. Collectors change. Collections change. The Archive Record belongs to the miniature itself, and each change of ownership is simply another event recorded in its lifetime.

08

Built for Decades

Mini Archive is designed with longevity in mind. Archive Records are meant to remain accessible long after any individual social media trend, technology, or platform has come and gone. The goal is preservation measured in decades, not product cycles.

09

Community Before Commerce

Mini Archive exists to benefit the miniature hobby. Monetization exists to support the platform, not to define it — every business decision is made to strengthen the archive rather than compromise its purpose.

10

Every Miniature Has a Story

Whether it's a first painted miniature or a competition-winning masterpiece, every miniature deserves the opportunity to have its story preserved. No miniature is too small, and no artist is too unknown, to have a place in Mini Archive.
